Objectives: The students will be introduced to the “student-centered approach” and to the main didactic tools they can use when they are asked to plan a safeguarding formation session.

Learning Outcomes: At the end of the course, the students will be able to plan a safeguarding formation session with respect to and focusing on the traits of the target group.

Content: Selecting the target group and developing adequate objectives for formation sessions; choosing content (with regard to the specific target group); selecting appropriate forms of presentations and other methods; running formation sessions.

Methodology: The course will combine lectures, readings, and seminar discussion, and will focus on a range of selected texts.

Means of evaluation: Evaluation will be based on class participation, written papers, and reflections.
