Objectives: The course will introduce the concepts of healthy relationships and boundaries. It will also give the students the chance to reflect on topics of sexuality from both a psychological and a theological perspective.

Learning Outcomes: At the end of this course, the students will be able to write and express the history of their sexuality, becoming aware of the characteristics of their culture as central elements in a person’s development.

Content: Confronting various cultural attitudes towards sexuality with regard to sexual education and gender roles; analysis of healthy styles of relationships with regard to closeness and distance, theological and spiritual aspects, as well as emotional factors.
Methodology: The course will combine lectures, readings, and seminar discussion, and will focus on a range of selected texts.

Means of evaluation: Evaluation will be based on class participation and written papers.
