- Tra labirinti e biblioteche - Storia e dogma
Maurice Blondel (1861-1949) wrote the short book "Storia e Dogma" because he was alarmed by the presence of "two completely incompatible Catholic mentalities [...] abnormal situation because there could not be two catholicisms". In his view, one of the most arduous and urgent issues to be resolved was the question "of the relationship of dogma with history and of the critical method with the authority of doctrinal formulas". The document dates back to the end of the 19th century, but it doesn't seem at all.
Professor Giuseppe Bonfrate, Professor in the Department of Dogmatics at the Faculty of Theology at the Gregorian University, will talk about it.
