The implementation of the anti-plagiarism software "Compilatio.net" - started on an experimental basis from the academic year 2021/2022 - to support students and teachers in the writing and verification of papers, licentiate thesis and doctoral dissertations, in order to ensure the originality of the texts produced by the university community of the Pontifical Gregorian University.

This is accomplished by comparing the texts submitted for analysis with an extensive database of documents published on the web or shared by other users.

The antiplagiarism check does not have a punitive purpose, but wants to be an aid to the preparation of quality papers and the acquisition of methodological skills underlying scientific research.
