Objectives: The course will provide students with the main elements to assess existing prevention programs through SWOT analysis. It will also equip the students with the ability to plan the more pressing needs a prevention plan, should involve in light of a culturally-sensitive analysis of the risks.

Learning Outcomes: At the end of the course, students will be able to assess and review existing prevention plans, proposing improvements that are consistent with the main values/norms of their cultures.

Content: Critical analysis of existing prevention plans; content and time-frames; culturally sensitive methods; evaluation; frequency of revision.

Methodology: The course will combine lectures, readings, and seminar discussion.

Means of evaluation: Evaluation will be based on class participation and a written paper.
