Objectives: The course will lead the students through the topic of spiritual abuse and abuse of conscience, giving them an idea of the dynamics and risk factors of spiritual abuse, as well as spiritual grooming.
Learning Outcomes: Students will be able to define spiritual abuse and abuse of conscience, as well as recognize when and how it occurs. They will be able to identify the dynamics that lead to these types of abuse.
Content: The difference and relationship between spiritual abuse and abuse of conscience; risk assessment, considering various cultural contexts; prevention of spiritual abuse.
Methodology: The course will combine lectures, readings, and seminar discussion.
Means of evaluation: Evaluation will be based on class participation and written papers.
It will be indicated at the beginning of the course.
