Objectives: The course will teach students knowledge on the types of online abuse, their impact on the victims and the abusive dynamics that might develop in the online world.

Learning Outcome: At the end of the course, the students will be aware of the various forms of online abuse and recognize their main characteristics. They will be able to recognize and gather the key elements to establish preventive environments in their particular contexts.

Content: Impact of the digital world on people’s lives; risks and forms of online abuse; online child sexual abuse and pornography; cybersex addiction.

Methodology: The course will combine lectures, readings, and seminar discussion.

Means of evaluation: Evaluation will be based on class participation and written papers.
