Objectives: This course will introduce the students to a deep reflection on the concept and elements of sexuality and gender roles, and help them to understand the importance of dealing with issues regarding sexuality in order to have healthy relationships.

Learning Outcomes: At the end of the course, students will be able to write the history of their sexuality, growing aware of the characteristics of their culture as central elements for human development.

Content: Confronting various cultural attitudes towards sexuality with regard to sexual education, and gender roles, and homosexuality; analysis of healthy styles of relationships with regard to closeness and distance, theological and spiritual aspects, and emotional factors.

Methodology: The course will combine lectures, readings, and seminar discussion.

Means of evaluation: Evaluation will be based on class participation and written papers.
